Site Status – 77%

Friends,

Slowly working out all of the kinks in the site. The transition to 16 bit looks promising and I fully intend to disappoint you as I half ass it.

Update: Introduced some new kinks into the layout. I’m currently finishing up the design and might add some effects to it via the upgraded Mode 7 abilities this time around. After 9 years of a site ripped from smb3, it’s time to revisit these memories with a George Lucas type of self destructive nostalgic vigor.

Update: I think I saw sentou take a rip off a bong he made  from a garage sale zapper. Looks like we have a new challenger for the title of Game Master

Update: 70%. The conversion to wordpress is going very smoothly thus far.

Update: 75%. Yup, it was a zapper

Update: Combatdrug Embraced as Pokeman Fan’s Wet Dream Part 2 in the works

Update: 77%. Damn you jpegs!

Combatdrug Embraced as Pokeman Fan’s Wet Dream

1998 – A young Sentou Yaku shows a friend of his the making waves sequencing software that Mr. Yaku is currently obsessed with. After demonstrating his prowess with the program that had resulted in such tracks as kraid vs scott baio and mushroom handjob, Mr. Yaku proceeds to humour his pal by making a quick mock up of a pokemon remix.  While his friend is watching on, Yaku lays down the basis to his friend’s delight.  Narrowly hiding his musically charged boner by tucking it up his boxer’s waistband, Yaku quickly gets back to the track and finishes the version heard in the video above.

Months Later – Yaku’s album under the moniker Combatdrug is released and subsequently sold in several bookstores and record shops in the Dallas Fort Worth area.  Two tracks from the album, mushroom handjob and pikachu muthafucka, become instant favorites of mine for their laid back hip hop groove and brilliant sequencing.  Unfortunately for Mr. Yaku, the resulting mp3s were almost too well done for the time period in which they were transmitted to the world. Upon the mp3s release to the internet, many an avid aphex twin fan rename the track to shift ownership from Combatdrug to one Richard D James.
